Study Leave Guidelines

The purpose of the Study Leave Guidelines is to ensure that the General Medical Council's Generic Standards for Specialty Training, including General Practice, are met.  This includes:-

• ensuring trainees know how to apply for Study Leave;
• ensuring trainees are able to take Study Leave up to the maximum permitted;
• ensuring the process for applying for Study Leave is fair and transparent, and information about Deanery level appeals is readily available.
