Faculty Development has become an increasingly important component of medical education and the goal of faculty development is to offer a planned programme in order to teach faculty members the skills relevant to their educational setting.
The structure of the series of courses provided by the Deanery has been based on the GMC defined standards for training and trainers and ‘The Trainee Doctor’ publication. The aim of these activities is to improve the effectiveness of our educational and clinical supervisors.
