Equality and Diversity

Deanery staff should read and follow this guidance in conjunction with the overarching NHS South West "Equal Opportunities Policy" and "Valuing Diversity Policy".

Trainees should read and follow the appropriate policies regarding Equality and Diversity of the Trust in which they are employed.  In conjunction trainees should also read and follow this guidance.

Equality and Diversity E-Learning Module

The South West Peninsula Deanery have purchased a licence for all staff and trainees to have free access to an Equalities and Diversity E-learning Module.  By completing this course you can expect to:-

  • Become familiar with equalities legislation;
  • Gain an understanding of the broader issues of equality and diversity;
  • Know your responsibilities and rights;
  • Be covered for a period of three years in Equality & Diversity training and print off a certificate to include in your personal development plan.

Duration:  2 hours (approx)
