External Representative Travel and Subsistence Guidelines

These guidelines set out the travelling and subsistence rates to be paid to all External Representatives either appointed by the Deanery or nominated by the relevant Royal College / Faculty when providing advice and/or scrutiny on the delivery of Postgraduate Medical Education in the South West Peninsula Deanery.

These guidelines are applicable to the following activities:-

• External Specialty Representative attending ARCP;
• External Specialty Representative attending Postgraduate School / Specialty / Foundation LEP visit.
