How to Apply for a mentor

Please note, due to the merger with NHS England and administration changes, we are currently not advertising mentoring courses or matching to a mentor

We will re-launch in July 2023

If you would like to have a mentor, please complete this form.

This will give the coordinator some information about yourself and an idea of the kind of mentor you are seeking to help the matching process.

Filling in a form does not commit you to joining the scheme, and any information you give will remain confidential.

You will then be granted access to our list of mentors and their bios.

Please nominate 3 possible mentors. We will do our best to match you with your first choice.

What happens next:

When you have agreed your mentor, we will pass on your details to them. This agreement signals you consent to your details being shared with the mentor.

The first meeting

This will usually take place in a neutral setting which is informal and where you won’t be interrupted.

You may decide to meet virtually.

Meetings usually last about an hour and happen every month- but this can be decided between you

The first couple of meetings will be an opportunity to get to know each other, building up trust.

You can then make a plan for future sessions.
