- Alcoholics Anonymous - A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
- Gamblers Anonymous - A fellowship of men and women who have joined together to do something about their own gambling problem and to help other compulsive gamblers do the same.
- Sick Doctors Trust - Provision of early intervention and treatment for doctors suffering from addiction to alcohol or other drugs.
- British Doctors and Dentists Group - A support society for doctors and dentists who are recovering, or wish to recover, from addiction/dependency on alcohol or other drugs. The confidentially of all group members is strictly retained. Regular meeting groups in Scotland, Wales and England. The BDDG also has family groups to support the loved ones of the sick doctor or dentist.

- Association of Medical Professionals with Hearing Loss (AMPHL) - Provides information, promotes advocacy and mentorship, and creates a network for individuals with hearing loss interested in health care fields.
- DIAL UK (Disability Information and Advice Line) - A national organisation for a network of approximately 130 local disability information and advice services run by and for disabled people.

- Victim Support Line - The national charity which helps people affected by crime. Provides free and confidential support to help you deal with your experience, whether or not you report the crime.
- Women's Aid - The key national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children; supporting a network of over 500 domestic and sexual violence services across the UK.
Other:
- Medical Women’s Federation - Offers advice and support to female doctors including mentoring and coaching schemes, support around issues with maternity leave, less the full time training, non-training grade doctors.
- Surviving Work in Health - an interesting on-line portal created by the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust for health care workers
- Physician Burnout - a website set up by GP, Dr Kate Little, after her own experience of burnout.
